However citizens of European Netherlands need to get a special residence permit to live on the island. Curaçao also has a special digital nomad visa program (4) called “Home in Curaçao Visa”. To get this visa applicant shoud prove that it has a working contract with a company or his self-employed business activities. By this program it’s possible to get visa for 6 months and then renew it for 6 more months.
